It’s a close fight between top contenders for mayoral posts across Metro Manila, based on the unofficial tally of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Transparency Server.
Former president and now Manila Mayor Erap Estrada is only 88 votes ahead of former mayor Alfredo Lim, as of 9 p.m.
The Comelec mirror server, housed at the Pope Pius XII Catholic Center in Manila, has so far counted 29,434,981 votes or 52.81 percent of 55,735,757 registered voters.
In San Juan City, incumbent Mayor Guia Gomez has 19,566 votes against Vice Mayor Francis Zamora who has 18,840.
Congresswoman Abby Binay is leading in Makati with 90,873 votes over incumbent Kid Peña with 83,546 votes.
