NAGA CITY–Vice presidential aspirant Leni Robredo could not cast her vote on Monday morning after the vote counting machine (VCM) in her precinct at the Tabuco Elementary School in Naga City malfunctioned.
The VCM at Precinct 119 would not receive ballots being fed to it.
Robredo arrived at the precinct at 9:35 a.m. after making stops at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Basilica Minore, the Eternal Gardens where her late husband is buried, and the residence of the Archbishop of Caceres.
As of posting time, the VCM was still not working properly, but a technician from Smartmatic was reportedly on his way to replace the machine./rga
