The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has allowed former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to undergo dental procedures at a clinic in Makati.
In its resolution, the high court said Arroyo is allowed to undergo dental procedures on the four days to be fixed by appointment with her personal dentist Dr. Ranny F. Reyes.
The high court said they should be notified of the date of the procedure.
The high court said Arroyo “shall be allowed to travel from the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) in Quezon City under proper escort not later than 11:00 in the morning of each of the four days of her dental appointment and that she shall be returned to the VMMC immediately upon completion of the procedures on each of the four days.”

In issuing the resolution, the high court clarified that the motion for leave to vote was granted “pro hac vice” or for this case only which means it should not be considered as entitlement to the same relieve in all other cases or similar instances. RAM
