SAN PEDRO CITY, Philippines—The chief accountant of Bacoor City in Cavite province was shot and killed by a lone gunman near her house early Wednesday, police said.
Reports from the Bacoor police said Marissa Bautista Ramchand, 54, was about to board her car at 8 a.m. when the gunman approached her and shot her inside the Princeton Heights Subdivision in Barangay (village) Mambog, where she lived.
Police said the suspect was dressed like a construction worker but his face was covered with a ski mask.
Ramchand took two bullets to her head and cheek and died instantly. RAM
