Motorcycle bursts into flames in GenSan
DAVAO CITY – A motorcycle parked near the Oval Plaza Gymnasium in General Santos City suddenly exploded around 12:10 p.m. Friday and authorities were investigating.
The motorcycle was engulfed in flames after it exploded, according to the City Information Office of General Santos City.
The motorcycle was parked near a row of stalls being used by banana vendors but nobody was reported injured, the CIO added.
Police and military forces immediately secured the area while investigators were trying to pinpoint the cause of the explosion.
The local government of General Santos City said that it was not certain if it was an attack and that the public must remain calm while the authorities were investigating. CDG/rga
