Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continues to enjoy his solo lead as front-runner in the vice presidential race, the results of Pulse Asia’s April “Pulso ng Bayan” survey revealed.
The survey, conducted from April 16 to 20, showed Marcos with 29 percent of respondents picking him as the next vice president.

Following the son of the late dictator is Liberal Party vice presidential bet Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo with 24 percent. Independent candidate Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero is in third place with 18 percent.
They are followed by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano with 16 percent, Senator Gringo Honasan with 4 percent and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV with 3 percent.
Marcos led among the respondents in Metro Manila and Balance Luzon with 39 percent and 37 percent, respectively. Robredo remained the top pick among Visayan respondents with 33 percent while Cayetano is the most preferred choice among respondents in Mindanao with 34 percent.

Pulse Asia noted that Marcos and Robredo shared the lead in Class ABC (36 percent and 32 percent, respectively) and Class D (30 percent and 25 percent, respectively) while four candidates—Marcos, Robredo, Escudero, and Cayetano — posted the same levels of support in Class E.
The survey had 1,800 respondents with 95 percent confidence level.
Subnational estimates for the geographic areas covered in the survey have the following error margins at 95 percent confidence level: ± 6.5 percent for Metro Manila, ± 3.5 percent for the rest of Luzon, ± 5.2 percent for Visayas and ± 4.7 percent for Mindanao. CDG
