PRESIDENTIAL candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s anti-drug campaign will spare no one—even his family members.
During the third and final presidential debate, Duterte was asked if what would he do if he found out that one of his children were into illegal drugs.
“Patayan mo,” the tough-talking mayor said.
“My order is, even if it is a member of my family, kill him,” he added.
Asked if one of his children was into illegal drugs, the mayor said none of them were involved into illegal drugs.
In his previous speeches, Duterte has vowed to stop criminality and drugs within the first three to six months if elected as president.
Duterte has been heavily criticized for his alleged involvement into extrajudicial killings.
The mayor, known for his iron-fisted leadership in Davao City, has repeatedly denied this.
He, however, has remained firm in his stand to kill criminals if they resist and put the lives of law enforcers at risk.
