Binay vows free, quality services in place by term’s end

Binay promises quality services if elected

DAGUPAN CITY—Vice President Jejomar Binay on Sunday promised a Philippines with free and quality social services and an efficient government under his administration if he wins in the May elections.

Binay made the statement when asked in the last presidential debate at the Phinma-University of Pangasinan the question: “Paano mo isasalarawan ang Pilipinas sa 2022 pagkatapos ng iyong termino (How will you describe the Philippines in 2022 after your term)?”

Binay said after his administration in 2022, the Philippines can expect decent housing, free medicine, quality and free education, and quality hospital services.

“Pagdating ng 2022, makakaranas po ang ating bansa sa Binay administration, ang bansang Pilipinas ay uunlad, ang mamamayang Pilipino ay aangat po ang buhay,” Binay said.

(By 2022, the Philippines will have experienced under the Binay administration a more prosperous country where Filipinos live a better life.)

“Sa bahagi ng pamilya, halos lahat ng Pilipino ay magkakaroon ng sariling desenteng pamamahay. D’yan naman po sa kalusugan, ang mga Pilipino ay magiging malusog at malayo sa sakit. Ang ating mga ospital, dekalidad, at makapagbibigay ng libreng pagamot at papaconfine sa mga mahihirap. Sa bahagi ng edukasyon… ang pangangailangan ng mga bata sa eskwelahan, libre lahat,” Binay said.

(Almost all Filipinos will live in a decent home. Filipinos will be healthier. We will have access to better hospitals which will provide medicine and confinement even to the poor. All the needs of children in schools will be for free.)

Binay also vowed to give more jobs and improve the different sectors of the economy.

“Sa bahagi ng hanapbuhay, ang employment po wow, halos lahat ng Pilipino may trabaho kasi dadagsa po ang mga foreign investors. Gaganda po ang mga trabaho, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, export at BPO,” Binay said.

(As for the livelihood, all Filipinos will have jobs because foreign investors will come. The jobs and industries of agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, export and BPO will improve.)

He also vowed that all the Filipino families would be able to eat three times a day.

He promised a Cabinet composed of competent secretaries.

“At sa pagkain po naman, sa Binay administration, lahat po ng pamilyang Pilipino ay makakakain ng tatlong beses. Sa bahagi ng pamahalaan, wala na pong kapalpakan, hindi na mangyayari ang analysis by paralysis, sapagkat mga kasamahan sa pangulo ay may competence at integrity,” he said.

(All Filipino families will be able to eat three times a day. The government will no longer have blunders and not guilty of analysis by paralysis because those working with the president have competence and integrity.) IDL
