BAGUIO CITY—The Supreme Court is expected to release the results of the 2015 bar exams in less than two weeks.
The high court is scheduled to hold a special en banc session on May 3, the same day as the anticipated release of the results of the November exams, according to a court insider.
The new lawyers are set to take their oath on June 16, as earlier announced by Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro, chair of the high court’s bar committee.
Some 6,600 aspiring lawyers took the exams held over four weeks in November at the University of Santo Tomas. A total of 546 examinees dropped out of what is considered the most prestigious professional licensure exam in the country. Tarra Quismundo
