THREE people died in a fire that hit a residential building in Pasig City early morning Monday, a report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM said.
The report said the fire broke out at 2:30 a.m. and was declared under control at 3:08 a.m.
The victims, who lived in a two-story building in Purok Sais, Barangay Kalawaan, were identified by the Pasig City Fire Department as Rosario Chan, 80, Costancia Chan, 55, and her son Benedict Chan, 22.
Although the fire only reached the 1st alarm, the report said the victims, who were sleeping when the flames engulfed the building, died due to suffocation. Aljon Tugaoen/INQUIRER.net trainee
