Livestock and Poultry Production Week was originally observed every third week of February by virtue of Proclamation No. 640 signed in 1960.

But due to unfavorable weather conditions experienced in February, it was moved to the second week of April by virtue of Proclamation No. 658 signed on Feb. 28, 1970.  Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
