The camp of presidential candidate, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and vice presidential bet, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, is positive in getting around two million votes in Cebu.

This has been affirmed when the tandem got the endorsement of One Cebu, which comprised three big districts in Cebu. One Cebu is led by former GSIS General Manager Winston Garcia.

According to Pete Laviña, the spokesman of Duterte, One Cebu will deliver more votes for Duterte-Cayetano tandem from other provinces of Cebu that will add up to the one million votes.

“With One Cebu’s support, Duterte-Cayetano would likely win not only in the province but also in the rest of the Cebuano-speaking areas in the Visayas and Mindanao,” said Lavina in a statement.

One Cebu covers three out of seven districts in Cebu. It includes the second district, third district and fourth district.

The latest data from Commission on Elections said the province has 2,722,288 registered voters and it has a high voters’ turnout.
The group also has faith that some local government units in the Visayas and the whole country will support the Duterte-Cayetano tandem.

“Mas marami pang LGUs ang magpapahayag ng kanilang suporta ito ay resulta ng dumarami pang lider na sumusuporta sa Duterte-Cayetano,” added Lavina.
