Duterte dares Binay to debate
PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night challenged Vice President Jejomar Binay to a debate on morality and corruption.
Duterte issued the challenge after Binay called him “butcher of the poor” to which he responded by calling Binay “butcher of the people’s money.”
Speaking to a mammoth crowd at the FTI complex in Taguig City on Monday night, Duterte said while he admitted that criminals and drug lords do get killed in Davao City if they resist police arrest, Binay has committed the graver sin of stealing taxpayers’ money.
“He says I am a butcher, that I will become a butcher. My God, Mr. Vice President, you are the butcher of the people’s money,” he said drawing wild cheers from the crowd.
In a radio interview on Monday, Binay said it was the “moral responsibility” of the people to dissuade everyone from voting for Duterte.

Duterte said he had never killed any woman or child as it would be better to put them under rehabilitation.
