DANAO CITY, Cebu—An alleged drug pusher slipped from the hands of law enforcers during a buy-bust operation conducted in his residence in Sitio Canlingo in Barangay Maslog in this northern Cebu city on Tuesday.

Filemon Nuñez, 43, was handing a pack of “shabu” from an undercover policeman about 5:15 p.m. when he heard someone shouting outside the house, “dapa, dapa (drop down, drop down).”

Realizing it was a police sting, he immediately ran to the backdoor of his house and toward the coastline where he disappeared.
