P6M shabu seized from Cebu house; ‘pusher’ eludes arrest

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Police seized at least P6 million worth of shabu, firearms and ammunition from the house of a suspected pusher in Cebu City on Saturday night.

But suspect Jason Cabrera was no longer around when police raided his house at Sitio Tayud, Barangay Cogon Pardo in Cebu City about 7:45 p.m.

Elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) found 515 grams of shabu, three pieces of caliber .38 revolvers with ammunition and 10 pieces of ammunition for 9mm pistol in the house.

The raid  was conducted on the strength of the search warrant issued by Executive Judge Soliver Peras of the Regional Trial Court.

Police described Cabrera as a level 2 pusher who could dispose about 200 grams of shabu per week.
