The Ateneo de Manila University campus in Loyola Heights in Quezon City was declared safe after a bomb threat rattled the university on Monday morning, forcing the students and faculty members to evacuate and causing the suspension of work and classes for the day.

In an update posted on the university’s official Facebook page Monday afternoon, it said that the second sweep conducted in the campus did not yield a bomb.
“Second sweep completed. Campus is declared safe. Faculty and students may now retrieve any belongings they may have left behind,” the update said.
The announcement also said that classes and work in the university will resume on Tuesday, March 29. AJH/JE
