Poe camp: LP members to join bandwagon, support bet’s presidential bid
Senator Grace Poe’s camp hinted on Monday that members of the administration’s Liberal Party (LP) would be among those who would join the bandwagon and support her presidential bid in the upcoming May elections.
“Meron ng mga leaders from other parties na lumapit sa amin. Kung ano man ang plano nila mas mabuti na manggaling sa kanila,” Poe’s campaign manager, Cebu Representative Joseph Ace Durano, said in a text message when asked if there are LP members who are joining them.
(Some leaders from other parties have expressed intentions to join us. Whatever their plans, it would be better if it would come from them.)
Asked again if LP members were among those who have approached them, Durano said: “Not only LP but also from other camps.”
“We will see in the coming weeks,” the campaign manager added.

Sources also revealed that former President and reelectionist Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada will also endorse Poe during his proclamation rally this Monday afternoon at Liwasang Bonfacio open ground in Manila.

Durano was mum about Estrada’s alleged impending endorsement of their bet’s candidacy.
“Meron e-endorse si Mayor Erap (Mayor Erap will announce his endorsement). Let’s just wait for his announcement,” he said. RAM
