Missing woman from Iloilo found dead in Capiz

Lea Sorongon Pasamonte was found on Holy Thursday with wounds on her body caused by a still unidentified weapon.
Pasamonte was no longer wearing her underwear when found, which led the police to suspect that she may have been raped before she was killed.
Her automated teller machine (ATM) cards were also reported missing, however, pieces of her jewelry were found inside her car which was abandoned along the roadside in Barangay Taslan.
Pasamonte, in her 30s, worked as a human resource supervisor for a nongovernment organization called Taytay sa Kuswagan Inc.
