CEBU CITY, Philippines—A South Korean national was arrested for possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia at the Mactan Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City past 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Airport police officer Andres Barsagas said Lee Kyungho, 30, was stopped at the airport access road where he was pushing a red trolley as he was heading to the airport compound.

Security guard Jamelo Baring asked the Korean if he needed assistance and Lee asked to see the police.
Once at the police office, Lee opened his trolley and yielded three small packs of methamphetamine hydrochloride (“shabu”), five used syringes and four syringes still placed inside seal plastic packs.
Barsagas said Lee appeared to be under the influence of drugs at that time.
Barsagas said they turned Lee over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for detention and filing of charges. RAM
