Red Honda Jazz driver sought for hit-and-run that killed 11-year-old boy

MANILA — Police are now trying to identify and track down the owner of a red Honda Jazz car who ran over and killed an 11-year-old boy in Pandacan, Manila, on Tuesday night.

Police said that as of Wednesday, they were still talking to witnesses to determine the plate number of the car involved in the hit-and-run case.

The boy, only identified as John Andrei, was run over near his home on Sto. Niño street about 6 p.m., traffic investigators said.

He was crossing the street when the speeding car hit him.

The boy sustained wounds in different parts of his body, mostly in the head and the left leg.
