To bolster peace initiatives in the country, the government and the Rotary Club – International are holding “peace camps” in Tagaytay and Cotabato City next month.

Dubbed “MasterPEACE Boot Camp,” the simultaneous workshops will be held from April 4 to 7.

“This 4-day experience-based training workshop aims to enrich and deepen the youth’s understanding of the Mindanao peace process through lectures and interactive activities,” the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) said in a statement.

The workshop aims to help students better appreciate the history of the conflict in Mindanao, as well as the peace negotiations.

Students leaders, 18 to 25 years old, are invited to join.

Application forms may be accessed by clicking this link and must be submitted to bemastersforpeace@gmail.com on or before March 11.
