FORT DEL PILAR, Baguio City, Philippines — Cadet First Class Christine Mae Calima of Bolinao, Pangasinan is the only female cadet to make the top ten in the 2016 graduating class of the Philippine Military Academy.
Calima ranked second in the list which was announced on Monday (Mar. 7) in the week when the Philippines celebrates Women’s Month.
Cadet First Class Kristian Daeve Abiqui of San Pablo, Isabela topped PMA Gabay Laya Class of 2016.
Ranking third was 1st Class Cadet Arby Jurist Cabrera of Cauayan, Isabela; followed by Cadet Joseph Stalin Fagsao (4th) of Maddela, Quirino; Cadet Jayson Jess Tumitit (5th) of Baguio City; Cadet Cadet Mark Joseph Daria (6th) of Bangar, La Union; Cadet Ace Clarianes (7th) of Libmanan, Camarines Sur; Cadet Prince Aday (8th) of Sta. cruz, Davao del Sur; Cadet George Bernard Garcia (9th) of Labrador, Pangasinan; and Cadet Gerald Gasacao (10th) of Meycauayan, Bulacan.
