FILIPINO Dennis Orcollo and German Ralf Souquet rekindle their rivalry as the two pool masters collide in the Philippines Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face Off Series on Nov. 5 at the PAGCOR Airport Casino in Paranaque City.
The match, a race-to-9, ten-ball affair, is set to give Philippine billiards another milestone as the first event to be aired worldwide through the internet and TV 4 every Saturday.
“It’s nice to be playing again with Ralf,” said the current world No.1 and reigning World 8-ball champion Orcollo, who lost to Souquet in the finals of World Pool Masters last month at the SM North Edsa.
The PBB Face Off is presented by Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corporation, and supported by PAGCOR, Accel, Diamond Table, San Miguel Beer Pale Pilsen, Malungai Life Oil, Hebrew Cafe, Human Plus Probiotics, Golden Leaf Restaurant, Hermes Sports and the Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP).
“I feel honored to be invited to play against the best billiards player in the world and I promise to play my best,” said Souquet, a former world 8-ball and 9-ball champion.
The Orcollo-Souquet match is part of a series of challenge matches Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corporation are putting up.
