3.8-magnitude quake hits Cebu City

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake hit Cebu City on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

According to Phivolcs, the quake with a tectonic origin and depth of 28 kilometers was recorded at 2:52 p.m.

The quake was located at 10.57°N, 124.04°E – 002 km S 56° East of Carmen.

Phivolcs said Intensity III was felt in Cebu City. YG/CDG
