AFTER 25 years of working for someone, a plumber has more than enough money to put up his own service shop after winning the P7-million jackpot in the 6/42 lotto draw last month.

The 56-year-old father of four from Baguio City claimed his prize on Friday from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) office in Pasay City. He was the only one with the winning number combination of 14-35-37-09-21-17 in the Feb. 6 draw.

The PCSO vice chair and general manager, Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, said the lucky bettor got the winning numbers from his birthdate while the rest were picked at random.

He told Rojas that he would use the money to buy a house for his family and set aside funds for his children’s future.

He said he and his wife were planning to put up their own plumbing service shop.

The PCSO has five games in which players can win at least P6 million nightly: The Lotto 6/42 (P6 million), Mega Lotto 6/45 (P9 million), Super Lotto 6/49 (P16 million), Grand Lotto 6/55 (P30 million) and the newest, Ultra Lotto 6/58 (P50 million).
