RICO Fabillar passed away at age 32 on Oct. 8 after suffering cardiac arrest.
Fabillar had battled a kidney problem for eight years which required him to undergo dialysis twice a week.
Fabillar’s plea for financial assistance was published in the Inquirer months ago. Readers who sympathized with him extended help for his medication and treatment.
His mother, Naty Fabillar, said she was grateful to Inquirer readers who made donations until the last moments of Rico’s life.
Rico will be interred today at 1 p.m. in the Catholic Cemetery at Pulanglupa in Las Piñas.
