Magnitude 4.1 quakes jolts Bohol town
ANDA, Bohol, Philippines – A magnitude 4.1 earthquake roused residents of Anda town in Bohol province at 5:01 a.m. on Monday.
The tremor was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 18 kilometers, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs) said.
It’s epicenter was located about 30 kilometers southeast of the town.
No damages or injuries were reported from the earthquake as of 10 a.m. on Monday, said Sybel Hermilinda-Mancillo, head of the municipal disaster risk reduction and management office.
Anda that is considered a tourism destination in Bohol province is located 99.3 kilometers southeast of Tagabilaran City.
