Duterte vows to continue killing criminals ‘in accordance with law’

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines—”I will continue to kill criminals in accordance with the law,” Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said on Sunday during the first presidential debate here.

Duterte was asked about the extrajudicial killings associated with his leadership.

The tough-talking mayor did not deny killing of criminals, however, he was quick to clarify that these killings were not extrajudicial because that such were always in accordance with the law.

Duterte is running under the platform of fighting criminality and illegals drugs.
