During his trip to the United States, Aquino apparently took a swipe at Marcos’ dyed hair.

Aquino said he could not fathom that a candidate could not show his true self, adding he would rather be real than make an effort to have his thinning hair “photoshopped.”

Marcos, who had admitted to having his hair dyed regularly, said the Romualdez side of his family was prone to get gray hair at an early age.

“Naku talaga. Kasi kung hindi ko ipapa-tina papagalitan ako ng lahat ng babae sa buhay ko: ’Yung asawa ko, yung nanay ko, auntie ko, lahat ng pinsan ko . Sabi nila nagmumukha kang matanda,” Marcos said.

Asked what he thought of Aquino’s hair, Marcos answered: “Ako ’di ko napapansin yung hairdo nya, kaya nagugulat ako yung hairdo ko napapansin ng Presidente.” RC
