Cordillera cops destroy P25.5 million worth of weed

BAGUIO CITY — The Cordillera police destroyed P25.5 million worth of marijuana, which were planted in 33 sites in Benguet’s Bakun town, during an anti-drug operation from Feb. 15 to 17, according to a report.

A joint task force, which included the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, uprooted and destroyed fully grown marijuana plants, seedlings, and dried marijuana stalks in sitios Naba, Kaang, Gusadan, Nagawa, Dakap, Bulisay, Agayay, Kaday and Pagungan of Barangay (village) Kayapa.  SFM
