CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—Authorities on Friday arrested two men suspected of pushing illegal drugs during a simultaneous raid in Barangay Dagumbaan in Talakag, Bukidnon.
Lawyer Jerry Abiera, National Bureau of Investigation assistant regional director for Northern Mindanao, said they served three warrants against four persons but only two of them were arrested during the raid.
He identified the arrested suspects, who yielded at least P60,000 worth of “shabu,” among others, as Abol Linog and Ansari Amal. Those who eluded arrest and were still being hunted down were Kusari Lantungan and Jamael Rasuman.
The other items seized during the raid were two .45-cal. pistols, more than P10,000 in cash, cell phones and various items.
The arresting team was composed of elements from the NBI-10, the Talakag municipal police station, and the Regional Public Safety Battalion. RC
