MANILA, Philippines–Starting Oct. 15, 2011(Saturday), Philippine Airlines will be flying twice daily, to and from Iloilo.
Ø PAL flight PR141 departs Manila at 10 a.m. and arrives in Iloilo at 11:15 a.m.; PAL PR142 departs Iloilo at 11:45 a.m. and arrives in Manila at 12:50 p.m.
Ø PAL flight PR145 departs Manila at 6:50 p.m. and arrives in Iloilo at 8:05 p.m.; PAL PR146 departs at 8:35 p.m. and arrives in Manila at 9:35 p.m.
In a statement, PAL said flights to and from the Visayan province were suspended from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 due to operational factors in connection with the transition process of the spin off/outsourcing program.
On Oct. 3, flight operations from manila to Iloilo resumed with one flight daily. The said frequency was maintained until Oct. 14.
The flag carrier aims to further increase its frequencies to Iloilo and other domestic destinations once manpower requirements are fully met by the third party service providers.
