DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur—Two suspected drug pushers were arrested during a raid in Barangay (village) Punta Biao here on Thursday, but a third suspect eluded arrest, authorities said.

Chief Insp. Teody Condesa, head of the police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), identified the arrested suspects as Gilbert Bucao and Genesis Ladiza. The police though failed to collar Kane Davhsen Alvarado, another suspect.

Condesa said seized from the suspects were three handguns, sachets of suspected shabu, three grenades and cash—the total amount of which was still being ascertained as of posting time.
