Hubert Webb, the son of former senator Freddie Webb, has married his fiancée whom he met while imprisoned at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP).

The wedding was held last Saturday at the St. Andrews Cathedral in Parañaque City, according to a report on ABS-CBN.

The 45-year-old Webb revealed last year that he got engaged with his girlfriend on December 12, 2014.

“Yun ang liwanag sa dilim ng buhay ko (She is the light in my dark world),” Webb was quoted as saying.

Webb refused to divulge the identity of his wife, a chef who is six years younger than him.

Webb spent 10 years at the NBP after being one of the six men convicted in 2000 for the killing of sisters Carmela and Jennifer and their mother Estrellita Vizconde in their Parañaque City home in 1991.  He was acquitted by the Supreme Court in 2010.

Webb is running for councilor in the first district of Parañaque in the May polls. AJH
