Broken rail near Ayala station halts MRT operations

A BROKEN rail near the MRT Ayala station was detected Thursday night, forcing train operations to grind to a halt.

The trouble was announced to waiting passengers waiting for the MRT at Boni Station.

The commuters were asked to leave the station and have their single journey tickets replaced with magnetic cards, which they can use the next time they ride the train.
