Cavite, Zambales bettors win P159M, P7.1M lotto jackpots
MANILA — Two lucky players became instant multimillionaires on Saturday evening as they correctly guessed the winning number combinations of the Grand Lotto 6/55 and Lotto 6/42.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Vice Chair and General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said that the winning ticket in the Grand Lotto was bought from an outlet in Bacoor, Cavite.
He added that the winner was the sole player to correctly guess the winning combination 06-25-17-09-14-12 and won for himself exactly P159,247,240.
In the Lotto 6/42 draw, Rojas said that the lucky ticket was purchased from an outlet in Iba, Zambales. He added that the winner was also the sole player to pick the number combination 15-10-19-28-07-26 to win P7,150,756.
Rojas said that in the Grand Lotto draw, 103 players won the second prize of P17,580, while 63 players won the Lotto’s second prize worth P9,810.
He reminded the new multimillionaires that they only have a year to claim their prize before the amount is reverted to the PCSO’s charity fund, which helps indigent Filipino patients through the agency’s Individual Medical Assistance Program. SFM
