1,487 out of 2,710 pass pharmacy board exam

A total of 1,487 out of 2,710 examinees passed the recent pharmacist licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Wednesday.

Data from PRC showed that Saint Louis University emerged as the top-performing school in the exam after posting a 98.24-percent passing rate or equivalent to 167 passers out of 170 examinees.

Other schools on the list are Mariano Marcos State University-Batac (86.84 percent), Our Lady of Fatima University-Quezon City (84.62 percent), San Pedro College in Davao City (82.76 percent), and University of Santo Tomas (81.43 percent).

The PRC requires 50 or more examinees with at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.
