MABALACAT, Pampanga—Police have detained the ambulant vendor who sold spoiled chocolate bars to students of Camachiles National High School here on Tuesday.

Nineteen students, who ate the bars allegedly sold by Fredmie de Leon, 24, suffered from excessive vomiting and stomach pains.

Supt. Rodney Baloyo IV,  Mabalacat police chief, said results of lab tests were being awaited before De Leon could be charged with negligence.

De Leon had said the chocolate bars were delivered to him by a supplier in the City of San Fernando. Jun Malig, Inquirer Central Luzon
