Correction Box for PDI Oct 14, 2011 issue

In the Oct. 12 issue, a front-page infographic showing the path of Tropical Storm “Ramon” was erroneously credited to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The infographic came from Typhoon2000.com.

In the same issue, a story on Page A10 – “Lights out against power rates tonight” –carried an erroneous headline. The Freedom from Debt Coalition and allied groups staged a nationwide protest against high power rates by turning off house and office lights the previous night. In other words, the mass action was undertaken on Oct. 11 – not Oct. 12.
