Aquino to sell PPP in Thailand
MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III is expected to present to the government and business leaders in Thailand his administration’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program during his official visit to the country next week.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said in a statement that Mr. Aquino’s visit to Thailand on May 26 and 27 is upon the invitation of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.
The visit aims to further strengthen the Philippines’ deep and strong bilateral relations with Thailand, as well as cooperation within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) in order to help build a secure and prosperous Asean Community by 2015.
During the visit, both leaders will explore ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in all aspects.
