At least six people died when their car burst into flames after hitting a concrete barrier and a tree in Calamba Road corner SVD Road in Tagaytay City early Sunday morning.
According to Jose Clyde Yayong, Tagaytay City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) head, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m.
The victims, who were onboard a red Toyota Vios with plate number AHA 5287, were not immediately identified as the remains were severely burned from the accident.
A witness of the accident said that the car was speeding when it hit the tree and went up in flames.
Tagaytay City SOCO is currently conducting an investigation on the case to determine the identities of the victims. AJH/With a report from Mariel Cruz, Radyo Inquirer
