Fire hits Sta. Ana

MANILA, Philippines—Fire broke out in a residential area in Sta. Ana, Manila Thursday morning, an officer from the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region said.

Fire Officer 1 Marylet Verdin said that the blaze along Havana Street in Sta. Ana, Manila was reported at 11:16 a.m.

It reached fifth alarm but had been declared under control, said Verdin.

She could not yet say what caused the fire and if there was anyone hurt.
