Two men were arrested after breaking into the house of former actor-singer Sonny Parsons in Marikina City.
Parsons’ neighbors saw the suspects identified as Rey Vergara, 32, and Angelo Chua, 26, as they entered the actor’s home around 5 a.m. before daybreak yesterday, a report from Radyo Inquirer said.
The neighbors kept watch and waited, capturing the two as they reemerged from the house.
Parsons was not in the house when the intrusion took place.
Only last Saturday, Parsons’ house was also broken into, where cash and jewelry amounting to P364,000 were taken.
According to Parsons, he and other residents have been on alert for the possible return of the robbers in the area.
In 2002, Parsons’ home was also broken into by two men who had tied up members of his family to restrain them. Parsons shot and killed the two suspects. CDG
