THREE passengers were reportedly injured after a train of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) hit a passenger jeep on Tuesday evening, according to radio DZMM.

The report said the accident happened at the crossing of PNR’s Paco station on Quirino Avenue corner Pedro Gil Street.

The driver of the passenger jeep, with a Sta. Ana-Padre Faura route, reportedly tried to beat the oncoming train at the crossing but it was too late.

The accident caused traffic congestion in the area, the report added. YG
