PULSE Asia says President Noynoy trust and approval ratings for the last quarter of 2015 increased to 53 percent and 55 percent, respectively.
Pulse Asia probably interviewed the wrong people for the survey.
The respondents apparently didn’t read the newspapers or watch or listen to broadcast news.
If those respondents did, they wouldn’t give the President the trust and approval ratings he doesn’t deserve.
Perhaps they don’t know how to judge incompetence.
Or, the survey respondents probably gave the President the thumbs up out of charity because he’s on his way out anyway.

Vice President Jojo Binay’s approval and trust scores went up by 9 and 10 percentage points in the latest Pulse Asia survey.
The Vice President’s trust and approval ratings rose from 43 percent in September to 52 percent, and 39 percent in the same month to 49 percent, respectively, in the Dec. 4-11 survey.
Taking pride over her father’s increased trust and approval ratings, Sen. Nancy Binay said people have realized the accusations against him and her brother, suspended Makati Mayor Junjun, were just “lies.”
But can documents at the Commission on Audit and the Office of the Ombudsman lie?
Nancy Binay will soon realize that voters are fickle-minded.
She should wait for the campaign season to get underway because accusations of plunder in Makati City against her father when he was mayor will surely surface again.
The senator will find out that she has spoken too soon.

Our courts are so slow hearing criminal cases that sometimes they are overtaken by the Universe in meting out penalties on offenders.
Take the case of PO3 Sande Baybayon who killed a teenager, Joel dela Cruz, in July 2001 inside a videoke bar over the use of a microphone.
Baybayon was dismissed from the police service only last year for grave misconduct.
My program, “Isumbong mo kay Tulfo,” helped the victim’s family file the administrative case in the Philippine National Police’s Internal Affairs Service.
The homicide case in the Pasig City Regional Trial Court, which my program also helped the family in filing, has dragged on.
But following a report that Baybayon has died of cancer recently, many say justice has been given to the victim, finally.

Chief Insp. Vinboy Pacamarra, chief of the Taguig City Police Community Precinct 3, was featured in this column on Thursday for leading a raid in the house of a resident without a warrant.
Leah, the wife of Marvin Cortez whose house was raided, claimed P60,000 was stolen by the raiders from their drawer.
On Thursday, Jan. 7, the same day his name appeared in this column, Pacamarra went to Leah and handed her P50,000.
Pacamara didn’t admit to getting the P60,000 to the startled Leah, who is eight months pregnant.
The policeman said the P50,000 was his “contribution” for Leah’s hospital and medical expenses when she gives birth.
Pacamarra must be so rich he can afford to give away P50,000 just like that!
