Isolated light rains expected over extreme Northern Luzon
Isolated light rains are expected over the extreme Northern Luzon due to the northeast monsoon (“hanging amihan”), the state weather bureau said Monday.
“Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Batanes, Babuyan and Calayan Group of Islands,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. RAM
