Only immediate family members of inmates are accommodated in the NBP on Friday.
Security was tight in the NBP as the management conducted background check and verification on the visitors, aside from the biometrics system, to ensure that only immediate family members can enter the compound.

K-9 units were also deployed to check if the visitors attempted to bring explosives along with their food for Noche Buena.

The spouses of the inmates were also allowed on Thursday to spend the night inside the NBP.

Visitation hours on Christmas Day in the NBP are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. AJH/With a report from Ruel Perez, Radyo Inquirer/IDL
