A Filipino-Chinese woman was killed after being shot by still unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle in San Juan City on Thursday morning.
According to a report by Radyo Inquirer, the victim was identified by San Juan City PNP Chief Sr. Supt. Roberto Alanas as Susan Tan Uy, 63.
Uy was driving her Toyota Rav 4 with plate number PHQ 252 along with a companion when the suspects shot the woman at Wilson Street corner Ortigas Avenue.
Uy’s female companion was unharmed from the shooting.
The victim was immediately brought Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center but later died.
According to a witness of the incident named “Loloy,” Uy sustained gunshot wounds in her head, neck, and shoulders.
Loloy said that Uy and her companion were from a convenience store when the assailants shot them.
Uy’s car even hit a fence of a building under construction.
The police are now securing the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from a building near the scene of the crime for their investigation. AJH/ With a report from Erwin Aguilon, Radyo Inquirer/CDG
