The latest survey that placed Vice President Jejomar Binay on top of the race anew is an encouragement for the official to continue spreading the word about his anti-poverty platform.
Binay’s spokesperson Rico Quicho said this Tuesday after the latest Pulse Asia survey the official regaining the lead in preferred Presidential candidates, getting the nod of 33 percent of 1,800 respondents nationwide.

“We thank our people for their continued trust and support to the Vice President,” Quicho said in a statement.
“The recent survey results encourage the Vice President to double his effort of directly telling our people of his plans to uplift their lives and make the government relevant in solving poverty, unemployment, and lingering social ills. We remain steadfast and focused on the task at hand,” he said.
The survey was conducted Dec. 4 to 11, and Binay received a comfortable lead ahead of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte, who got 23 percent, and Senator Grace S. Poe, who received a 21-percent share.
Binay had earlier slipped in surveys following left-and-right allegations of corruption against him and his family.
He has denied the charges, saying they were part of attempts to derail his presidential bid. IDL
