CANDIJAY, Bohol—Floodwaters on Saturday started to inundate several areas in this town as tropical depression “Onyok,” which has since been downgraded into a low pressure area, had spawned rains since Friday night.
At least six villagesLungsod Daan, La Union, Panadtaran, Boyo-an, Pagahat and Poblacion—are submerged in floodwater, said Jeryl Lacang-Fuentes, head of Candijay Disaster Risk and Management Office (MDRMO).

In Panadtaran, the water reached up to waist-high that the personnel of the MDRMO had to evacuate at least 20 persons.

She also advised motorists that the highway in Poblacion was no longer passable due to floods.

 
The MDRMO was continuously monitoring the situation in low-lying areas, while personnel and rescuers were checking the condition in different villages.
